Students, staff, family and friends gathered to celebrate the opening of our brand new Sixth Form Centre on the 7th September.
Cobham Hall’s Estates Manager, Mr Allen, was invited to cut the ribbon for the new centre. He has worked tirelessly to transform these room from how they were built centuries ago for Queen Elizabeth I into a wonderful new social and learning hub for our Sixth Form students.
The Centre features exciting new equipment such as the air hockey table - which we have no doubt will stir up some competition – as well as individual and group workspaces, perfect for both group projects and quiet study. Our students took a leadership role in designing the Centre, choosing the colour schemes and furnishings and helped to create an exciting, modern space to be enjoyed by Sixth Form students for years to come.
Cobham Hall’s merger with The Mill Hill School Foundation made this investment possible and we are delighted to welcome the Foundation’s CEO, Mr Antony Spencer, to the event to celebrate alongside students and their families.
