GCSE
Thursday 22nd August was a day of celebrations as our Year 11 students achieved excellent GCSE results.
We are delighted to share that on average our students gained 8.4 GCSEs, with 1/3 of students achieving a grade 7 (A*/A) or above in all of their subjects.
It is important to highlight and recognised that several subjects received a 100% pass rate including; Biology, Chemistry , Physics and Music.
Congratulations to the Science department who scored some particularly great results.
Biology:
64% grades 9-8
91% grades 9-7 (equivalent to A*-B)
Double Science saw 79% of students achieve grades 9-6
Triple Science achieving 75% grades 9-7
67% of Physics and Chemistry students achieved grades 9-7

A Levels
Cobham Hall was delighted to celebrate a wonderful set of A Level results and the exciting future that lies ahead for our students at their chosen universities. As of today, 60% of students have been offered a place at their first-choice university, including places in prestigious Russell Group universities.
The proportion of Cobham Hall grades falling in the all-important A*- C band was an excellent 67%. Outstandingly, 90% of subjects have a 100% pass-rate. A notable success was the Creative Arts department who received a 90% pass rate of A*-C grades, with Graphic Design receiving an incredible 100% A* result. Another subject to highlight was our Extended Project Qualification Course (EPQ) results. A course which is beloved by universities – saw 100% of students receive A*-C grade – 61% being A*/A.
This year’s results day is a milestone in Cobham Hall history as the first boy, George, who joined Cobham Hall’s Sixth Form in January 2023, becomes the first boy to graduate from the School. George will be attending the University of Loughborough where he will study Quantity Surveying.
