Years 12 and 13: A Level Photography
This is an exciting course enabling students to break creative boundaries and pursue personal interests.
At the start of the course many students are novices to photography so in the first half term pupils learn the practical skills and cover camera basics, darkroom photography, Photoshop as well as historic and critical knowledge of key photographers. This course provides the students with the freedom to produce both digital and analogue works, pursuing their personal journey through creativity.
When possible, A Level photography students benefit from the knowledge of professional photographers with workshops being run to support learning. Recently, this has included renowned photographer Amelia Troubridge, who has worked with brands such as Jimmy Choo, Google, The BBC, Vogue, Tatler and Time Magazines.
